After all that hu-halla, finally Sania and Shoaib tied the knot (Nikah) today – Monday April 12, marriage solemnised at 1 pm at Taj Krishna hotel-Hyderabad. Sania wore red saree that her mother had worn 25 years ago for her own nikah. Shoaib was wearing a black sherwani which was made by Shantanu and Nikhil. Meher amount is 61 lakhs.
Marriage related ceremonies: ‘Mehendi’ is scheduled for April 13, Sangeet on April 14 and reception will be held on April 15. Sania’s uncle Talat Aziz will render ‘ghazal’ for the ‘sangeet’.
The menu for the reception is mouth-watering. There will be seven types of starters, a salad counter, a kebab corner including ‘pathar ka ghosh’ along with some other Hyderabadi delicacies. There will be 23 dishes for the main course — two types of biryani and 12 types of desserts. Around 1000 guests are expected to attend the reception.
Shoaib Malik finally agreed to divorce Ayesha Siddiqui after being pressurised by community leaders.
