Bhupathi made an announced on Twitter saying, “So Lara and me got engaged in NY last week”. So Bollywood Babe Lara Dutta and Tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi got engaged last week in New York.
No sooner did Bhupathi post this online, was flooded with congratulatory wishes. The couple has been in New York since August for the US Open and Davis cup, and also because Lara had to attend a photo shoot for a magazine.
Bhupathi was claimed to be the apparent reason behind Lara dumping Dino Morea. And Lara has been held responsible for the divorce between Bhupathi and his wife Shwetha Jaishankar.
The wedding date is yet to be announced but Lara is happy with the engagement. She said that Bhupathi proposed her in NY during a candle-lit-dinner and gifted a ring.
Mahesh Bhupathi’s former wife Shweta Jaishanker accused Bollywood actress Lara Dutta of ruining her marriage life. Shweta alsi accused Mahesh of cheating her and going around Lara. Mahesh and Swetha had got divorce in July this year after difference over opinions.
However, Lara Dutta denied the charges and said that duo got parted ways much before their affairs.
