Sex and The City girls are back after 2 long years. Trailer of Sex and The City 2 released today, movie will hit the theatres on May 28, 2010.
Well, the trailer shows movie is all about the fun loving and the fashionable girls. Trailer also takes girls to a fun-filled holiday in Egypt.
“Sometimes, you just have to get away with the girls,†Carrie says about the Egypt experience while shooting for the movie. In response to rumours that the “Sex and the City†gals don’t get along, Parker told Star magazine, “‘It’s ridiculous, I love the cast and spending time with them – it was peculiar to me to see the scrutiny the four of us have come under.â€
There’s trouble in Sex and the City 2 – and her name is Penelope Cruz. The Spanish actress appears in the new trailer for the highly anticipated film as a sultry temptress who catches the eye of Mr Big, played by Chris Noth. Carrie Bradshaw catches her husband Mr. Big flirting with Cruz at a bar, prompting her to question her two-year marriage.
Things go from bad to worse for the relationship when Carrie escapes to Abu Dhabi with her girlfriends only to run into her former fiancé Aidan. The return of fan favourite John Corbett, who featured heavily in Season 4 of the series as her handsome and wholesome love interest, will no doubt delight and intrigue loyal viewers.
They meet by chance at a street market, with Aidan gushing: ‘This is the best mirage I’ve ever had.’
Carrie later tells Charlotte: ‘We bump into each other half way round the world – I think it means something.’
Charlotte – portrayed by Kristen Davis – replies: ‘I think you’re playing with fire’.
In one scene Samantha talks about how she has ‘tricked’ her body into thinking it’s younger by taking handfuls of pills to keep her from ageing. In another she is on stage at a party with teen star Miley Cyrus, who turns up on a red carpet wearing the same dress as her.
Musical theatre icon Liza Minnelli also makes an all-singing, all-dancing cameo appearance.
I reckon we are done with Sex and the City, girls are all getting old and pale, especially Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). I am only interested in Mr Big, he is such a charmer.
