Shilpa Shetty is all set to appear on London’s West End later this year, she has landed a role in Miss Bollywood. She won’t sing and stick to the dancing for the Moulin Rouge-themed prodution.
Shilpa’s spokesman Dale Bhagwager tells the BBC, she is not a professional singer, but she excels in dancing and performing and I think that is what she would be looking at. Her role requires lots of dancing and acting and that’s something she loves doing anyway.’
Her costumes will be designed by popular Indian designer Neeta Lulla and they will represent the ethics and culture of India.
The Sun quoted Shilpa as saying,
The whole song-and-dance routine of a musical really fascinates me and I think I’m a natural in the art.
