Yes he did, even before the show could begin airing on December 12. During a recent photo shoot, he realised that Shekhar Suman was also among the contestants.
The former cricketer had a problem with Suman while formerly judging a laughter show. To avoid any unpleasantness, he told the producers he was no longer interested in Jhalak, leaving Sony to hunt for another contestant.
The judges include Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan and choreographer Remo.
Among the contestants for the dance show are telly stars Ragini Khanna (who is Govinda’s niece), Mahi Vij, Sushant Rajput, boxer Akhil Kumar, Yaana Gupta, Meiyang Chang, Renuka Shahane, Anushka Manchanda and Krushna Abhishek.
