Monica Bedi, looking like a girl next door….simple, innocent and very regretful for her past. I think the lady deserves to live a happy life now, she had suffered too much for her mistakes and stupid decisions. Yeah, we all can blame her for whatever she went through and also can say “jaisi karni waisi bharniâ€. But she is really regretting getting involved with Abu Salem, I guess she should have taken lessons from the outcome of Mandakini and Don Dawood relations.
On July 25 2007 she was released from the Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad after her incarceration in connection with a passport forgery case.
On Monday she was seen offering prayers, washing dishes of other devotees at langar and sweeping floors at Golden temple in Amritsar. Dressed in a pink ‘salwar kameez’ and accompanied by her father Prem Bedi and Uncle Parshottam Bedi, Monica first paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum where the Guru Granth Sahib is kept. She quietly wept while shabd kirtan (hymns) were being rendered in the background. She then drank amrit from its olive-green pool.
Monica told reporters she visited the holiest of Sikh shrines
to offer thanks to Waheguru so I can once again lead a normal life. I begged Him to pardon me for my past mistakes”.
It was with the “grace of God” that she was able to overcome the trials and tribulations of her life.
Poor soul was also disturbed by the TV Channels broadcasting her objectionable bathrooms photos/videos taken through hidden cameras in jail, which she finally managed to stop through Court Orders.
I wish her all the best for her future and hope the hell is over for her.
