Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 2 – Tapur is out!

I was completely speechless and shocked when Tapur’s name was announced to leave the show. I said to myself, it can’t be happening there is definitely something wrong. And thought soon Mona will rectify her mistake by asking Mika to leave the show. But sadly Tapur was the one to go. I must say Mika’s appeal or you can say dhamaki to all his punjadi’s was worth giving, he survived the eviction. And for Tapur’s Bengali audience, I think they all were too busy voting Aneek Dhar of SaReGaMaPa Final 2007. Once again it is proved that popularity of the contestant counts and not the hard-work they put in.

The Friday night was full of Cha-cha-cha and Disco theme. Contestants were in full swing with beautiful songs they were given to perform on. Best performance of the night, in concept, dance and song – was Sudha Chandran. She was gorgeous dancing to the song “Tumse achcha kaun hain”. Her costume, hip & leg movements were stunning.

Then it was Ronit dancing on “Bachna aye haseeno”. He gave a WOW! Performance and his was a kind of solo act, joined by his  choreographer at the end. He was looking hot and class. Loved his dance.

Next was Prachi and Deepak, they were cute and sexy. Dancing on “lucky lips” they scored 25 points. Very very good performance and the flip they did was, too good.

Jay was fantastic on “Sara jamana haseeno ka deewana”. Mind blowing!

Rest of them as usual was Ok! Cyrus and Mika were same, no dance just funny act from Cyrus and Mika was full of attitude in no mood of dance and was just waiting for the song to get finish. He must be partying hard, night before the show, so was looking very exhausted. And then he starts begging for points from judges as well as from the audience.
Cyrus did a disco on “Yeh raat mein jo mazaa hai” and Mika also did a disco on “dil lena khel hai”.

Mini looked very cute, like a doll dancing on “dhal gaya din”. Trying to impress Jeetu, they scored just 18 points.

Tapur danced on “mangta hai kya” from Rangeela.

Sandhaya did cha-cha on “kya mujhe pyaar hai”.

Sonali danced on a medley of “Rangeela re” – it was a mix of both the old and the new.

Negi dazzled with his new look, a jazzy purple shirt, wig and a goatee – and he danced to the number “Yaar bina chain kaha re”. The judges were stunned at his performance.
