First performances of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 and its Rocking!!!

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 is Wow-Wow!!! To start with, I would say JDJ have a beautiful and huge stage, sone pe suhaga is their three beautiful, talented and talking sense Judges. By “talking sense” I am try to point out the judges we have on Nach Baliye 3 this year, I mean there’s no mazaa in their comments for the contestants.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 have a beautiful combination of six girls and six boys stars and choreographer as their contestants. Only hitch is that “chole-bhatura” (Mona Singh) on the stage hosting the show. I personally never liked her, I was shocked to see her win the JDJ first season, Shweta Salve was the best – in looks, in dance and also she has much better figure then that chole-bhatura. Mona is too loud and too fat to host a show, Shweta Salve was the best choice as a host but we all know politics is everywhere. So last moment poor Shweta was replaced by chole-bhatura to annoy us with her typical Punjabi accent and loud ha-ha. But Rohit is best as a host. 

Opening night was fabulous with sexy Urmila and Shaimak Davar showing us their moves. Loved the way Shaimak is trying to work on his Hindi, but why the hell he have so much of foundation on his face.
Jeetendra has still got that charm to melt heart of millions women’s by his moves and his son is nowhere near him, he did join Jeetendra in his moves but was hopeless.

On 28th Friday, the night was for the six girls to perform and build threat to boys. And boy! The girls did set the stage on fire. Songs for all the six girls were nice, chirpy and fast which I love to see. If you ask me about my favourite girl, it’s very difficult because all of them were too good. I was speechless, all of them were bang on! May be it was because of the songs or their dance but Friday night was total fun for me. Throughout the show I had a naughty smile on my face. I enjoyed every song and dance of JDJ.

Theme for the dancing night was Salsa and Bollywood latka-jhatka.

First came Prachi Desai with her Choreographer Deepak, let me tell you I have loved Deepak from the days he used to choreograph Yash and Gouri Tonk in Nach Baliye 2. I find him very cute and talented, still remember he did steps with Saroj Khan on the stage and he was very good. So I knew he and Prachi will definitely set the stage on fire and they did. Dancing on “Ishq di gali vich no entry” they were gorgeous following the every beat of the song. Total score 19

Second: Sonali Kulkarni dancing on “You my mind blowing mahiya” she enjoyed every moment of her dance and was looking good. Scored total 20 points.

Third: Tapur Chatterjee was looking stunning and had a very good chemistry with her choreographer. They dance on song “teekhi teekhi teri akhiyan” from Dhoom 2 and scored total 15 points.

Fourth: Mini Mathur did a Salsa, very nice, very fast and beautiful. She was too good performing on “its rocking yaara kabhi Ishq to karo”, scoring 19 points.

Fifth: Sandhay Mirudul, my favourite bindaas babe. She was my favourite girl of night, dancing on “Mehbooba Mehbooba”, she and her partner was mind blowing. She was also looking very very sexy. “Laajawaab”, scoring total 23.

Sixth was great Sudha Chandran, she was totally a surprise package with her Salsa moves and she really did a great job despite all her difficulties. Dancing on “Aye chori zara nach ke dekha” she was lovely and bit nervous, she scored total 23 points.

Boys Night: 

Then it was boy’s night on 29th. I was expecting boys to perform much better than girls, but they broke my heart. Only few could manage to entertain us.

Ronit Roy was superb, fantastic and sexy. Dancing on “Joom Barabar Joom” he was enjoying every bit of it. And I think he was the only one who deserved to get total 23 points.

Cyrus was also good, may be because he did a mixture of fun and dance act. His song was “signal pyaar ka signal” and he did justice to it. Total scoring 18 points.

Aadesh Shrivastava was very slow and looked like he is pushing himself to dance. Song was “tenu leke main javanga”. He scored 16 points.

Jay Bhanushali danced on “Partner” and was Ok, not very very good. Total 18.

Mika has got too much of attitude, he also started flirting with Urmila. And on dance front he was not at all interested in his performance. He just did it for the sake of it. Song was “dekha jo tujhe yaar”. Scoring 16 points.

Mir Ranjan Negi was not bad, but I don’t think he deserved to get 23 points. Judges were biased to him. He dance on “tumhe jo main dekha” song.

All in all I think JDJ will take over Nach Baliye this year. Because I’m loving it!!!
