Yes it is! It’s a beautiful, heart-touching and definitely a soulful movie. For the people who say it’s a soulless movie, have never been in love I think. Ranbir Kapoor is fabulous and very sexy cute hunk. He’s got everything acting, expressions, dance, dialogue delivery and killer looks.
Boy is going to be the next super star like his father who ruled the cinema for decades. Even Rishi Kapoor has not given such romantic and beautiful performance ever. I don’t have words to express this creation of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The man is full of love and beautiful thoughts, it’s a very difficult job to give life to your dreams. The set of the movie, the colours, lights and lovely lotus paintings on the walls can only be the imagination of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Hats off to Sanjay!
I loved his Hum dil de chuke sanam, Devdas and Black. All these movies had beautiful huge and lovely colourful sets. Same is with this movie, everything is fine two newcomers and a fantastic unpredictable love story. What else people want? Atleast young audience should not have any complaints from this movie. Yeah it’s little exaggerated somewhere but still I would say it’s lovely. It’s a saying “dil mein pyaar ho to har cheez pyaari nazar aati hai†it’s true you have to have a heart full of love to understand this creation of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Well, I don’t have to say anything more about Saawariya, I liked it that’s what matters!
Ok now the most controversial scene, yeah I saw it “the buttâ€, I think his butt is only for overseas audiences. I couldn’t believe someone from Bollywood and that to a newcomer is so comfortable showing his bum on screen. Cute Bum crack – picturised very well, would love to see it again. Everybody in the thearter went Awww! including me.
Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor as couple was little hard to digest, but they looked good. Salman as usual was wonderful. Wonder what Anil Kapoor had to say about the intimate scenes between his daughter Sonam and his friend of his same age Salman Khan. Sonam I think is lambi race ki ghodi.
Rani Mukherjee as Gulabji was fantabulous. Loved every bit of her performance.
For me the movie is complete love story and a must watch! Song Jab se tere naina (becasue of Ranbir’s butt) is my favorite, actually all the songs in the movie are beautifully choreographed.
