July 17th, 2007
The Leading newspaper of India, TimesofIndia, published a news of 11th July 2007 with a title  Sex flies off Gujarat govt website which shows upto what extent the media can go to sensationalize the issue. It was just a silly mistake of not changing the link on the webpages to the new website giicindia.org but TimesofIndia portrayed all the matter in such a manner that people thinks, employees of Gujarat Govt are running a "Porn business" through Goverment website.   Background Gujarat Govt registered the giicindia.com on 24-Sep-1998 and the website was working fine until it got expired on 09/24/2006. Google Trends – Top Porn and Religious Countries
July 14th, 2007
This is hilarious and jaw-dropping. UK is in top six if you search for word “Porn” in Google trends whereas USA is a “Religious” country in the whole universe. Sydney, Australia comes on the seventh position as a religious country and all the other numbers are taken by USA, Washington, DC on the first place. I was stunned to see this huge difference between two almost similar countries. Not to mention, Briton always maintains that they are the superior ones and have a “class”. Well! Now we know what “class” they have.

Unbelievable but true incident - Brian Bennett, a Louisville Courier-Journal reporter had to leave the stadium during a Louisville-Oklahoma State baseball game for posting live updates of the NCAA baseball tournament game on his website. The National Collegiate Athletic Association says reporting on the "game in progress" violates the exclusive broadcasting rights it sold to ESPN and CBS SportsLine.com. The NCAA says, Bloggers can write about the game before it starts or after it's over. In between, they can blog about "the atmosphere, crowd and other details," but not about the game itself. Does the NCAA really think anyone wants to read about the "atmosphere, crowd and other details" at a college baseball game? Hardly anyone cares about college baseball, period. ...
